Coquette Photoshoot (2024).

A good friend of mine, who is a makeup artist, reached out and pitched me a concept for a photoshoot. With the release of Bridgerton Season 3 and "coquette" becoming a popular trend in 2024, it made sense to combine both worlds and produce a vision we felt was authentic to our creative approaches/processes. Shivi was really keen on making pearls the centerpiece and main effect of the shoot. I also wanted to juxtapose some of the styles - though this shoot is girly, I wanted one of the models to be wearing sneakers laced with pink ribbon to add a little more of an edge to some of the shots.

This photoshoot was set up in my apartment - I designed the set using satin sheets, flowers, and basic lighting. My friend, Shivi, did makeup and hair. Talent included our friends Prachi and Amanda. You can view the mood board and select photos below.
